Neon in box, photography, each 80x120 cm, 2014
In this work, the artist carries the lettering around with him in the form of the neon sign as a mes-senger and refers to problems such as failed investments and speculation. He holds this sign in front of one of the several huge shopping malls built in his hometown of Rousse that never opened. On the other hand, the piece poses art-immanent questions, its own dilemma of belonging.
For whom it is produced? For its own sake or for the market?
